Rafting the Rogue is both as adventurous as it is rewardingly beautiful. The rivers class II, III, and IV white water are well reputed as being among the nations best. Yet the rafting is only part of the enjoyment. The Rogue offers a special wilderness experience that is truly first rate.

We raft the Rogue during the months of July and August. At this time of year you can count on warm weather, temperatures range from the mid 80's to the mid 90's. Water levels are favorable for rafting making the class II, III, and IV white water exciting and safe. Don't worry, if the weather is too warm the river temperature is perfect for swimming. The Rogue is a drop-pool river, so after every rapid there is a pool to rest before the next surge of excitement.

Your trip begins at Graves Creek and ends 3 days, 2 nights and 43 miles later after numerous memorable adventures at Foster Bar. Our trips take you through the 40 miles of federally preserved wild and scenic Rogue River Canyon.

In 1976 the Rogue River was entered into an act of congress called "The Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968" this act was aimed at protecting and preserving the present state of the river and since then there has been no building or development. To protect against crowding, the river can only be accessed by obtaining a permit. These laws have allowed the river to remain unchanged with it's scenic beauty undiminished.

You will see all kinds of birds from Osprey fishing for their evening meal to Bald Eagles perched above watching over all. There is also abundant animal life: turtles, playful otters, deer and if your are lucky you may even see a black bear. There are numerous side hikes, swimming in a creek where gold miners once panned for gold or try panning for yourself. Walk up to Zane Gray's Cabin (the author of Rogue River Feud and other western novels), visit the historical Rogue River Ranch Museum or slide down a natural water slide into a placid pool.

Sit back, relax and be guided down the Rogue or challenge the rapids in a self-bailing inflatable kayak or participate in our paddle rafts, which are becoming one of our most popular activities. The guides will host you to a tasty lunch that is prepared right along the river bank. The breakfasts and dinners provided by the lodges are second to none.

On our trips you have three choices of overnight accommodations. We offer a Double Lodge Trip. There are a couple of beautiful rustic lodges tastefully located in the wild and scenic canyon. These lodges offer first class accommodations with beautiful grounds, comfortable cabins, and excellent meals. Our favorite trip is our Deluxe Camp Lodge Combo. On this trip we spend our first night at our deluxe camp. We provide the gear and do all the preparation, your job is to relax, enjoy and you will enjoy our first class camp cooked meals, prepared by your guides. The second night is spent at a beautiful rustic lodge. Your third option is our Double Camp Trip; as the name implies we spend both night's camping along the beautiful Rogue River.
